Description- This photograph was discovered in a vintage shop in

Cleveland, Ohio. It immediately caught my eye because, in Black

culture, the accomplishment of having a graduate in the family is

deeply cherished. The journey to this achievement, whether easy or

fraught with challenges, is often celebrated with great pride. This

photo, once a symbol of that hard-earned success, has been lost or

perhaps given away, only to be found again by me. It now serves as a

poignant reminder of the impermanence of life and the fleeting nature

of our achievements. This image, once part of a family's celebration,

has become a relic—a testament to the interconnectedness of

generations and the shared human experience across time.
